Astrology of the New Libya Republic 2011

A new Libya horoscope is born today.

After the account of current events (below) are the astrological charts of the birth of the new government for Libya.

Libya was reborn today, 10 March 2011, at 10h03m GMT. Located at Benghazi, the new Libya is a Sun Pisces with Gemini rising and Moon in Taurus. The new name of this country will be the "Libyan Republic".

An unexpected birth by C-section

Its birth was given body by the act of the first official recognition of a foreign government of the Libyan Interim Transitional National Council. This recognition has been granted by France which declares today that it officially recognizes the Libyan Interim Transition National Council as the sole representative of the Lybian people. France will send an ambassador to Benghazi shortly. The Libyan TNC will open an embassy in Paris. This happened when two representatives of the Libyan TNC, Messrs Jibril and Essaoui, were received by France's President, Nicolas Sarkozy, this morning. At the end of the meeting, both parties made a declaration to this effect.

Mr. Mahmoud Jebril, representative of the Executive Team, was born in 1952 in Libya and was responsible for economic affairs in Libya. Mr. Ali al-Essawi was born in Benghazi, Libya, in 1966. He is now the National Council's representative for foreign affairs. He was previously Minister for Economy and Trade.

The earliest news I could find (link in French), when all this became public, i.e. when the baby was born to this world, was at 11h03m Paris time (10h03m GMT / 12h03m Libyan time). Although the declaration was made in Paris (France), the astro chart for this event is located in Benghazi in Libya, as taking effect there, as this town is the seat of the temporary government which will, hopefully, move to Tripoli once the country is liberated from its tyrants.

France has announced contemplating targeted air strikes on military depots so that Ghaddafi cannot anymore bomb the rebels, and it is prepared to go it alone in this instance  (Link in French). France has moved ahead of (and against)  the European Union which, at the time of writing, is rumored to think about a similar recognition soon, but this has not happened yet.

The Libyan representatives requested from France to:

• jam Libyan military communications;
• destroy Gadaffi's bunker;
• neutralize the three airports used by the Libyan air force to fly bombing aircrafts and bring in mercenaries;
• to recognize the opposition in the form of the Libyan Transitional National Council; and
• to impose a no-fly zone.

France will propose the no-fly zone, without much hope of gaining consent of the UN Security Council members. The potential lack of this agreement may explain the decision of France to go it alone in attacking Gadafi's military targets.

One should not loose aim of the fact that the above decisions may also be prompted by a consideration of its own problematic internal affairs. President Sarkozy is at an all-time low popularity in opinion polls within one year of new presidential elections. He has been widely criticized for his gross mistakes, and those of his ministers, in the handling of foreign policy, particularly with regard to Tunisia's and Egypt's revolutions.

A bankrupt friend

Another aspect is that France was buying much oil from Libya and will need to find other sources of supplies, regardless of the reassuring comments of EU Ministers who claim there should not be scarcities in Europe (or France). The prices of petroleum products, benzine, oils, gasoline, have sky-rocketed in France which is in a dire economic climate where unrest by an increasingly poor population is probably not far from thinkable if things get any worse.

Another pointer to the importance of this recognition can be seen by comparing Nicolas Sarkozy's birth charts (geo, helio) with the birth charts of the new Libya (further down).

Pisces, Gemini and Taurus - a caring, fun and placid young country As a Pisces with Gemini rising and Moon in Taurus, the new Libya looks like it is going to be a caring country which will be able to forgive some of the mistakes of the past regime (Pisces). The rising sign in Gemini shows the rising of the youth which made this revolution possible. The Taurean Moon, exalted in this sign, show that it will be able to use its wealth for the benefit of its people. It will not all be easy (tightly-packed stellium of war and unrest in Xth), but with well meaning friends (XIth house) and even its once hidden ennemies (Moon on cusp of the XIIth), it should be able to become the new little Switzerland of Arabia. A cruel, but mercifully quick civil war On the whole, a rather good chart, after a period of bloody and cruel (Mars Pisces) war, as promised by Saif Gaddafi. Intervention by foreign powers (Neptune, IXth), will not be overt but will be decisive (rule of IXth Uranus in Xth). So although it is said that France is likely to go it alone to help the young republic, it would not be surprising to discover one day that it did so with tacit agreement of the United States - and possibly some trade deal/financial benefit to France (mutual reception between Mars and Jupiter). The coming opposition between Jupiter and Saturn in the next few months hints at lengthy difficulties. However, this opposition is already finished in the helio chart, so the worst has probably already happened as far as injured and dead are concerned. The difficulties are going to concern the restructuring of Libyan society after this short civil war.
In the heliocentric chart, look at the position of Mars, also in Pisces, exactly conjunct the MidHeaven, if one takes account of houses in helio charts. There again, it's also in mutual reception with Jupiter, hinting at the possibility that although war is ahead with many dead, it will be quickly over, once the young Republic has convinced its friends to help. The opposition between Jupiter and Saturn is gone in the helio chart and will not come back, taking away the possibility of a protracted conflict. Twin countries? One might want to note that in the helio chart, Uranus has just ingressed in Aries. As a hint, an Indian astrologer once taught me that the very first minutes of Aries (helio), within the first 30 minutes of arc, as is the case here, hints strongly at the possibility of twin birth. Which is exactly what is happening here: there are now two Libyas. How long will it be before this young new Republic unites with the rest of the country is another lengthy and debatable subject altogether. If I was to apply the rule of the first aspecting planets, one finds Mercury quincunx Saturn, with an orb of 2°07'59", from fixed to cardinal, so it could mean 2 months or so, or if one takes major aspects, there's a Venus sextile Saturn, from mutable to cardinal, with an orb of 4°03'17" of arc, so possibly some 4 months. However, this technique is wide open for debate...

The astrology of the moment of the award of the 2010 Nobel Peace Prize Winner to Mr. Liu Xiaobo very accurately depicts the circumstances. The award was announced in Oslo, Norway, (59°55'N 10°45'W) on 8 October 2010 at 11h00m (GMT 09h00).

UPDATE - In news dated today 29 October 2010, the press report that other dissident signatories of Chart 08 - which Mr. Liu Xiaobo co-authored - have been troubled by the authorities. It is said that the Nobel Prize winner's wife is kept incommunicada, as well as others who have signed this Charter.

The Award Chart - Advocacy of Human Rights

The New Moon was just past, in the sign of Libra, for diplomacy and advocates of peaceful debate. Mercury, for the teacher writer, is conjunct to Saturn, serious and wise, in Libra, the peace loving sign of the Zodiac, on the cusp of the Xth and XIth house, professional accomplishment in the sphere of humanity. It also shows the unease of the Chinese authorities with Venus retrograde conjunct Mars rising exactly on the Ascendant of the Chart.

Anger and Jail This prize is bound to provoke irritation, because of Mars on the ASC, and the attempt of the Chinese authorities to coerce the Nobel Prize authorities in not giving him the prize (Venus retrograde in Scorpio).

There is also the presence of Lilith exactly conjunct the IC, in Pisces, giving this event a very large importance in the world. Lilith, the Black Moon, as the dark side of humanity (Pisces) in the collective psyche (IVth house), emphasizes the transformation of bad to good by an extraordinary individual fighting with encompassing love for humans (Pisces) freedom of expression (because Lilith will arrive in the IIIrd house within minutes of the announcement).

A Distressed Wife

There is more somber expression of Lilith in this chart, as it seems that Mr. Liu Xiaobo's wife has suddenly disappeared from public sight, it seems by the will of her country's authorities, so that she cannot contact people and may not be able to visit her husband in prison to let him know of his receiving the Nobel Peace Prize.

Western Reactions

As the conjunction of Jupiter and Uranus also takes place in Pisces in the IVth, it is possible that pressure by Western media or governments may help get him freed. Alas, the conjunction of Venus and Mars on the Ascendant does not bode too well for Mr. Liu Xiaobo, particularly when Venus becomes direct again in a few weeks' time. It is to be hoped that reason (Saturn in Libra) will help minimise the hardship for this man, but it is not sure.

Money, Money and Money Again

The presence of Pluto in Capricorn, to a rather tight trine to Juno in Virgo, from the IInd to the IXth, may indicate that financial factors could play a role in his future well-being. The mode of expression of this money matter is not clear however, especially given the present climate of foreign exchange with respect to the few indispensable currencies of trade in the world. It could also concern the prize money itself. Finally, there are on-going talks for trade agreements between China and Norway, the country where the prize is awarded. The presence of the Chiron Neptune conjunction in the IIIrd house is witness to some secret talks that may not be helpful in this situation, given its exact square with Interamnia in the Ist.

Help for his Freedom

The Moon, in the XIth in Libra, just leaving the quincunx to Sedna in Taurus in the Descendant argues in favor of friends of his wife being able to offer help. Perhaps some international organization like Amnesty International or the International Committee of the Red Cross could bring their friendship and activities to the help of his wife, who knows?

Mr. Liu Xiaobo's birth chart shows the steadfastness of a social activist with Sun, Mercury and Lilith in Capricorn, progressive ideas with Venus conjunct Chiron in Aquarius, social adaptability and charm with Moon in Gemini, a strong fighting spirit with Mars in Scorpio, very high ideals with, on the one side, Jupiter conjunct Pluto sextile Neptune, and this same conjunction semi-sextile Uranus on the other side. Saturn in Scorpio, square the Jupiter Pluto conjunction can be looked as a disregard for authoritarian figures, even if it means harm to himself. To a degree, it may mean jail sentences although one does not know the placement in houses since there is no precise time of birth. This is what has already happened to him several times.

Talking can be Dangerous

As asteroid Interamnia is square Mercury, his speech or writing was going to cause him trouble at some point. Fortunately, Jupiter, Uranus and Pluto are all part of a configuration contacting Lilith and it may be hoped that at some point he'll be freed - quite suddenly and unexpectedly at that. The Moon placement may not be accurate since the birth time is not known. However, the Moon in Gemini is either in contact with the South Node Ketu and that would mean misfortune, or with a quincunx to Mars in Scorpio (ill-chosen verbal or written fights, scandals or nefarious disclosures), or with Saturn in Libra (loss of emotions due to speech about peace). So his Moon was not helpful to his emotional or physical well-being, at the very least, because it allowed him to speak or write words that would be against many people's opinions - which is exactly what has happened to him over the years.

It will be even more so when transiting Pluto conjuncts his radical Sun on these three dates: 9 January 2011, 21 July 2011 and, finally, 10 November 2011. The transiting Chiron Saturn square also speaks of risks on or around 16 January 2011. Chiron was also transiting to the opposition of his Pluto and will become exact again on 15 January 2011. Both these powerful square were already operative in the last few months and it may be that his health has not been the best in the recent past, so a jail term would not help this. Similarly, the synastry between the heliocentric charts also show risks around 21 March 2011 and 19 November 2011.

Traffics of Influence The heliocentric chart also shows quite clearly that his country's authorities bore pressure on the Nobel Prize Committee to try and influence it against giving hims the prize. That is seen with the opposition between the conjunct Jupiter Uranus on the last critical degrees of Pisces (ill-advised and last-ditch attemps) and Vesta (the flame of truth). This happened during the summer of 2010 but was only made public at the end of September. The said aspects occurred on 24 and 30 September 2010.

The Road to a Safe Haven

This man should be given fast and safe asylum very far from his birth country and provided with security measures for a long while. Whether he is freed before end 2011 or remains in jail, any organization or friendship that can check on him would be well advised to do what they can to ensure his well being on or around the above dates. The rest of the aspects are more or less OK, so it is hoped all ends well despite the risks outlined above.

At 13h30m in Warsaw, it was announced that Mr. Jaroslaw Kaczynski has collected 1.65 million signatures! CONGRATULATIONS!

Below are the astrology charts for Mr. Jaroslaw Kaczyński, now a candidate to the Poland Presidential Election, after the death of his twin brother in the Smolensk plane crash on 10 April 2010 at 10h56m (Russian time). This article has been updated and a fully detailed analysis of the horoscopes has been added.

The horoscope for the official announcement of his bid for the Polish presidency is set for 26 April 2010, 14h54m, Poland Time, and for Wroclaw. The reason for placing the astrological chart in Wroclaw rather than Warsaw is because the announcement was to be made immediately after the funeral of Ms. Aleksandra Natalli-Swiat [see her horoscope in the Victims' List] which Mr. Jaroslaw Kaczyński attended. The written press release was precisely timed and embargoed until 15h00m. Mr. Kaczyński delivered his speech at 14h54m from the place of the funeral, Wroclaw (Mercury being presently retrograde will have hastened it by a few minutes!).

From Wikipedia: Candidates were required to register by 26 April 2010 at 16h30m (with 1,000 signatures of voters in support) and submit 100,000 signatures by 6 May 2010. If necessary, a run-off will be held on 4 July 2010.

Originally, Lech Kaczynski was up for re-election in autumn (between 19 September and 3 October; the exact date would have been announced between 23 May and 23 June), before the end of his first five-year term of office. Two candidates for the election died in the crash. There are now, at the time of writing, 20 candidates for this election; they are all men.

On the basis of the analysis of the astrological charts below, the possibility that Mr. Jaroslaw Kaczynski obtain the 100,000 signatures necessary to run for the Polish Presidential Election is high.

The charts below however do show a success mitigated by sorrow and it is difficult to extract the essence of the question which is: "Will Mr. J. Kaczynski obtain the 100,000 signatures required".

On the basis of pure intuition, I'd say he'll get these signatures, but there might well be a number that are not validated and Mr. Kaczynski would be well advised to submit much more than just 100,000 to be on the safe side. If he could obtain 50% more, he'd be safe. He will also need to be quite an astute politician to wave aside the critics of the way he obtained them as some of his opponents will come into light with very nasty remarks. Hammering and repeating is not enough, there is need for more subtlety and less emotion. Order needs to be done in his family. The family support is lukewarm and he needs to know exactly where he stands with them. A word to the wise, he should pay attention to his physical needs and get sufficient sleep, good food, and avoid as much as possible stressful situations, particularly during any travelling.

Jaroslaw Kaczynski presidential candidate

Jaroslaw Kaczynski is the Law and Justice candidate in the June presidential elections. In a special statement, the President of the Law and Justice has called for cooperation "of all who wish to continue the work of the victims of the tragedy of Smolensk."

President Kaczynski wrote that in a crash near Smolensk Poland lost its most distinguished citizens, and many people lost their loved ones. "He left my beloved brother and his wife, left my warm, long-time friends and colleagues from our Law and Justice party, which I will never forget" - added the President of the PiS. He also reminded the other died in a tragic accident.

Jaroslaw Kaczynski stressed that, despite the tremendous grief and pain over the loss of loved ones, should continue the work of all those who died near Smolensk. "Though steeped in pain and mourning, bound with everlasting memory loss, we are obliged to fill in their wills" - wrote the President of the PiS. He added that the decision to start the election required of him and his colleagues overcome personal suffering and take the job in spite of personal tragedy. PiS President stressed that at this time can count on the support of the entire family.

Ladies and Gentlemen, 

On April 10 in the crash died in Smolensk Polish President Lech Kaczynski and Mrs Maria. Along with them, in a tragic and incomprehensible catastrophe, which for reasons not yet known, suffered the death of 94 people accompanying the Presidential Couple, including the last President of Poland in exile Ryszard Kaczorowski, the Solidarity legend Anna Walentynowicz - steadfast fighter for freedom, justice and truth, representatives of Families Katyn - stalwart guardians of the memory of the Katyn massacre, politicians, soldiers, veterans, clergy, officers of the Polish state, leading representatives of many backgrounds. They died almost at the end, near the graves of thousands of Poles murdered by the Soviets at Katyn. Led them there, convinced that the truth and the memory of the victims of this crime deserve special respect. 

Poles dignity and severally paid homage to the victims of this tragedy, prayed for the dead. And they still do, after the end of official mourning. White-red flag with a black pall, still hang in many Polish homes. Thousands of people, and was accompanied by the last accompanied by his friends, colleagues. We were in those days together. We are together. 

Exceptionally ordeal met in these days of all those who lost their relatives in Smolensk - wives, husbands, mothers, fathers, sons, daughters, grandparents, grandchildren, sisters and brothers. The pain, the suffering, have been, are and will continue my participation. 

He left my beloved brother and his wife, left my warm, long friends and colleagues from our Law and Justice party, which I will never forget. 

Moves members, senators, ministers government with other political formations, which I respected and with whom I cooperated.

They died the most important institutions of state governors and prominent representatives of many organizations and groups. The soldiers, the commander of the Armed Forces. Poland is proud of them.

Here is the Geocentric Astrology Chart for the Announcement by Mr. Kaczyński that he is running for the Polish Presidency

This announcement came after the funeral of a highly respected woman and was done in a most sober manner. Mercury rules the AS in Virgo, which is appropriate to the chart. Mercury is in Taurus (feminine sign), retrograde, in the IXth (the Church). It is in mutual reception with Venus in Gemini, angular to the MC from the IXth. Juno, a feminine asteroid, is strong by being almost exactly conjunct the MC. It makes a quincunx to Pluto in the IVth in Capricorn and could be taken as representative of an emotional patriotism in Government. This is also appropriate to the 2 statements announcing this candidacy.

One may interpret this Mercury retrograde and combust as malefic; however, see that Mercury and the Sun are applying to each other, resulting in Cazimi for Mercury. This may cause Mercury to give good surprises rather than bad ones.

Whether this good turn will affect the outcome of this announcement remains to be seen because the horoscope is afflicted by the almost exact opposition from Saturn to Uranus, from the ASC (and close to the IInd) to the VIIth (close to the VIIIth). This certainly would illustrate a statement done in the shadows of sadness and death, but also ennemies are going to be strong. Since Mercury rules Saturn and Jupiter rules Uranus, the ennemies would be defeated, at some cost.

Note that Saturn is inconjunct to Chiron and Neptune from I to VI, Virgo to Pisces/Aquarius. The Neptune-Chiron conjunction is just out-of-sign. Certainly this aspect could take its toll on Mr. Kaczynski's health. At the very least, such a Saturn-Chiron aspect is not good for luck. As for the Saturn-Neptune quincunx, it's called the "Poor House" aspect and it may be that financial support is either withdrawn or limited, despite the other good financial aspects for this campaign.

There's a symmetrical aspect between Vesta-Jupiter-Neptune-Saturn. There is a need for the stern and naked truth about what happened with the plane crash. Hopefully this peculiar aspect will bring it to the fore, despite the reluctance shown in the grand square between Vesta-Sedna-Lilith-Sappho in XII-IX-VI-III. With Mars ruling the VIIIth and the XIIth from dignified Leo, it may be possible to know provided the event is well explained and not exploited by the press in a bad manner (because of the Mercury-Mars square).

Mars is dignified in Leo, in the XIth. Friends will give a lot of energy to this campaign. Mars rules the VIIIth and is 2nd ruler of the IIIrd. It's also applying to a square to Mercury retrograde. Money matters, taxes will weigh heavily in the speeches. Some rather acid comments and words are likely to be uttered out of turn.

Moon in the IInd in Libra is applying as a first aspect to a sextile to Mars in the XIth, showing financial support from friends in this campaign. This Moon would best be used by using as much diplomacy in speeches as possible, instead of grand sweeping sharp statements . Moon is also separating from a quincunx the Sun, Libra to Taurus, II to IX, and would show how much Mr. Kaczynski has hesitated becoming a candidate. It may also show some reluctance from foreign leaders in acknowledging happily this new candidate. I do not know the religion standing of Mr. Kaczynski, but I would say it is in his interests to spare the Church(es) in his words.

Jupiter is very strong angular in the DSC in Pisces, but it's almost on its own with no major aspect to major planets. It has just passed a semi-square to the Sun and is applying to a semi-square to Mercury retrograde.

All in all, this astrology chart does not look very favorable for this endeavor and the other parameters need to be looked at carefully in order to attempt a balanced judgment on the question.

Here is the Heliocentric Astrology Chart for the Announcement by Mr. Kaczyński that he is running for the Polish Presidency

The heliocentric chart is a little more optimistic, on the surface. Earth and Mercury apply to a trine of Venus. Chiron and Neptune are conjunct, that is very good. Mars and Mercury are in mutual reception and will give good battles with words. More so since Mars is conjunct Vesta. The rest of the chart is rather more difficult, particularly with the applying Saturn Pluto square. It illustrates an underlying hunger for power and it could provoke a downfall.

Here are the Dual Geocentric Astrology Charts for the Announcement by Mr. Kaczyński that he is running for the Polish Presidency compared with his own birth chart horoscope. Mr. Kaczyński was born on 18 June 1949 at 02h00 (GMT+2) in Warsaw, Poland, 52°13'N-21°00'E.

	This is the comparison between the geocentric astrology chart of the moment when the press realeased the statement informing that Jaroslaw Kaczynski would run for the Presidency of Poland and his astrological birth chart. Transiting Sun and Mercury in Taurus are conjunct his radical ASC. This is a perfect symbolism for a beautiful (Taurus) press (Mercury) release (Sun-Asc) too early (Mercury retrograde) concerning his public status (ASC). Transiting Sun is placed in his natal XIIth however, which shows a decision made at a time of sorrow and sadness.
This is reinforced by the presence of the cruel and violent fixed star Hamal. As Hamal also represents headstrong yet capable leaders, in the radical XIIth and rising in the transit chart, there is no better symbolism to illustrate the death of a president and the rising of another made in the same mould. In addition, Hamal with Sun and Mercury reveals many but fickle friends, so this ought to be a warning not to rely on anyone around. In fact, the compilation of precise descriptions of this star in this reknowned website should entice Mr. Kaczynski to be very wary and attentive to his environment: Quote: "...evil associates, loss and disgrace, violence, brutishness, cruelty and premeditated crime...".  Although one may discuss the validity of considering aspects other than the conjunction with fixed stars, here there's a semi-sextile from Hamal to the transiting MC, so it would be easy to say there's at least a very little link between the tragedy and the statement... If there is someone who needs to know what happened in the airplane crash, it's him. Becoming Poland's President would give him access to the darkest hypotheses of the crash. It is to be hoped that even if all information is not made public on this Mr. Jaroslaw Kaczynski does get to the bottom of it.
Transiting MC, placed in his first house and which is also conjunct transiting Juno and Venus, is conjunct his radical Mars Mercury conjunction. This is rather adequate for the wording of the announcement, continuing the fight (Mars) of his brother (Mercury) with a heart (Venus) of passion (Juno). Transiting Mars is approaching his radical Pluto Fortuna conjunction in his Vth house. This is a quest for the Graal (Vth house of speculations) at any cost with unyielding will (Mars-Pluto). Unfortunately, this is not the best of conjunctions as it takes place in the XIIth of the announcement chart and may show sorrow to come if the election race is fought in this spirit.
Transiting North Node Rahu is conjunct his MC and its opposite end, the South Node is conjunct his radical Venus. These show a possible change of fate. They also illustrate the hesitations to pick up the gauntlet of the presidential race. Despite the statement that his family has supported his choice, the chart shows that there wre reluctance. They are also both in emphasis as fixed star Vega is sitting on the North end and Sirius on the South. Both stars portend success, not necessarily long-lasting, and with insincere friendships and dangerous passions. On a lower level, Sirius exposes to severe dog bites or danger from beasts.
Transiting Jupiter in the VIIth of the transiting chart is still conjunct his radical Moon in his radical XIIth. There are certainly powerful (Jupiter) associates (VIIth) pushing emotionally (Moon). Again, this takes place within the XIIth of the radical chart and although Jupiter is at ease there, the end result may not be so fortunate, because of all the other negative aspects in the chart. This may become a honorable rally rather than the definition of an election winner.
Transiting Neptune is still within orb of the opposition to his radical Saturn. Literally "dissolving" (Neptune) of "structure" (Saturn). Transiting Chiron is part of this attack on radical Saturn. Since Chiron also rules a person's charisma and public image, Neptune long-term affairs, and that lot is in opposition to radical Saturn (restrictions), one may wonder if the public image of Mr. Jaroslaw Kaczynski could be at risk. Since he would need to be popular to win elections, this aspects bears no good to him. On the other hand, he had no choice but to announce his running for the presidential seat on this date since it is the Polish Constitution that rules the calendar of elections. There are a number of difficult aspects with Saturn and Uranus interactive in both charts. On the whole, the geocentric chart is appropriate to the announcement made, but it's not completely positive. A further look at the other charts below is necessary to confirm whether Mr. J. Kaczynski will find 100,000 signatures before the 6 May 2010 in order to be allowed to go forward with his bid for the Presidency. Starting an electoral campaign under such auspices is not very favorable.
Promise to a brother... A rather interesting element is shown in the chart: it looks as if there was a formal promise from Mr. J. Kaczynski to his twin that if anything happened, he would continue in his place.  This is shown in the announcement astrology chart with Venus trine Jupiter, Sun quincunx Chiron and Mercury quincunx Neptune. It's as if he promised his brother he would replace him if something happened. This promise dates back a few months, either when Saturn trined Jupiter in early November 2009 or in the last week of March 2010. A Saturn-Jupiter good aspect would be a classical for honoring a promise. In addition to which, transiting retrograde Mercury  rules this Saturn in the transit chart (and is also conjunct the radical ASC), transiting Venus rules this Mercury, and both Mercury and Venus in both charts represent the brother and the family.

Here are the Dual Heliocentric Astrology Charts for the Announcement by Mr. Kaczyński that he is running for the Polish Presidency compared with his own birth chart horoscope.

The heliocentric charts do show a picture that is better than the geocentric ones but still not as good as one would wish to start on such a big project. Mercury trine Uranus is likely to deliver the 100,000 signatures, and this may come as a surprise to those who thought Mr. Kaczynski was not a serious contender. Transiting Jupiter is completing a powerful yod with Pluto and Neptune that should help deliver these signatures.
In addition, Jupiter also completes a mystic triangle with radical Neptune and Juno. The trine between Pluto and Ceres shows increase in power and support from the business world. These are very strong aspects which help overcome all the negative ones.
The Earth-Saturn sextile shows solid support for his campaign. The Pluto-Venus quincunx and the Neptune-Chiron conjunction to the sextile of Earth are relevant to the highly emotional atmosphere of this election, as well as a heightened idealism in this campaign.
In conclusion, although the charts are not the best for such a run for an election, the probability is high that Mr. J. Kaczynski will collect the signatures needed to compete in the race. The confirmation of this needs to be given by the 6 May 2010 chart below.

As the candidates to the Presidential Election have to submit 100,000 signatures before 6 May 2010, one needs to examine Mr. Kaczynski's stars on that day, to find out whether he is likely to obtain them.

The astrological charts below have been timed for 16h30m on 6 May 2010 at Warsaw. If those signatures are forthcoming, there will also be a need to compare the astrology charts of the candidates, those of the election dates with those of Poland.

Here are the comparison geocentric charts between the birth chart of Mr. Kaczynski and the final day of submission of the signatures.

	The quincunx transiting Mercury to Chiron becomes exact on 4 May 2010. It may well show this is the time when all required 100,000 signatures are obtained and validated. The trine between transiting Chiron and Uranus is exact on 2 May 2010 also (and this one repeats on 7 July 2010). Nevertheless, it will be a difficult campaign and it would not be surprising if some people start contesting the number and validity of the signatures because of the transiting Chiron coming to the opposition of radical Saturn.
At the closing time for the submission of signatures, the transiting MC is placed in emphasis by conjuncting radical Juno, Venus and IC. Transiting Mercury, which will still be retrograde, is placed in the radical XIIth and this may give rise to wild speculations on the way the signatures were obtained. Radical Lilith becomes angular on the cusp of the Mars ruled transiting DSC, from the VIth, and shows that opponents are not finished finding issues with the way the signatures have been collected. Transiting North Node is placed between the IC of the day and the radical MC, opposing radical Venus. This may show a victory of sorts but could be in the name of honor only. This will need to be checked with the exact election date in June. At the very least, some family members who may offer support publicly are doing so to show a united family. Behind closed doors, however, there may be bitter conversations on this election.
Transiting ASC is widely conjunct radical Neptune. A certain amount of illusions, disappointments, seld-delusions or deception may be associated with this aspect.
The only tight aspect of the transiting Moon is semi-sextile radical Moon. Moon representing the people is here slightly favorable to the candidate. So the various negative feedbacks will be coming from those presently in power or occupying influencing positions, but not from the population.
Transiting Mars is conjunct radical Pluto and is exact on this day, in the radical Vth and end of transiting Xth. There is an unerelenting aspect, showing hunger for power and the will to fight to win at any cost. This aspect is repeated in reverse with transiting Pluto slowly coming to the quincunx of radical Mars. This will be exact in 2011. Care should be exercised with this, whether or not Mr. Kaczyinski is elected in the summer. Pluto Mars aspects are violent ones and do nothing to help a politician, either with rash unpopular actions, or simply with health or accident concerns. Especially as these malefic aspects occur during a longer-term Uranus transiting to the opposition of radical Saturn.

Here are the comparison heliocentric charts between the birth chart of Mr. Kaczynski and the final day of submission of the signatures

The heliocentric chart is quite strong for gaining the required signatures. Transiting Jupiter applies to the quincunx of radical Pluto (exact on 8 May 2010) and this is certainly an indication of expanding power and strength. Mars will have just completed a trine to itself on 5 May, a sign of victory. Transit Mercury is quincunx Uranus so the signatures are there. Again, there may be questions on whether all signatures are valid. Venus is nicely aspecting radical Earth. All this is taking place in the background of a transiting Pluto applying to radical Venus which completes in September 2011. Whatever the result of the election, the going should be good for Mr. Kaczynski next year in 2011.
Earth squaring Pluto is exact on the day at 16h28m and this throws some negative feeling in the chart. Earth is important in heliocentric charts. Hopefully this is not strong enough to demolish all the other good aspects, but it's a tight one which cannot be avoided. So at the very least, there will be something quite unpleasant happening. Whether this will be public or not is difficult to say. Earth also represents, literally, the "world". Perhaps some "world" people won't be too happy?
From the above charts, the conclusion could well be that Mr. J. Kaczynski will obtain the support necessary to be an official candidate to the Presidency of Poland. Let's say that the chart might be accurate to about 70-75%, but there remains a number of unknowns which astrology may not be able to solve.
