Does the astrology chart of alleged criminal Ryan Alexander Jenkins show him to be the monster described by the media?
Jenkins is alleged to have killed his wife Jasmin Fiore-Kinkade in during a conjugal fight based on either money or jealousy. She was found strangled, badly beaten, with her fingers and teeth missing; she was identified with the serial number of her breast implants.
The following analysis attempts to shed an astrological view on some of the planetary aspects that may have had an influence in this murder tragedy.
Ryan Alexander Jenkins birth charts (geocentric and heliocentric, below) have been drawn for 12 noon *. Jenkins was born an Aquarian, with his moon in Libra. Both are in violent air signs when it comes to crime rate.
Despite these two airy signs normally known for intellectual debate or harmonious exchanges, the chart is badly afflicted for verbal exchanges. As an Aquarian, he would have been stubborn and opinionated, particularly as his Sun is afflicted by a Jupiter square, which would give momentous scenes and roaring fights. Sun parallel Uranus would have given him a flighty temper, with very little patience for bores or dragged out situations. With his Libran Moon, he'd try to come over as the devil's advocate, which is a role he would have been successful at. He might have been a good diplomat if it hadn't been for the position of Mercury conjunct Mars in Capricorn. This man may have had a very nasty tongue and would have known how to use the most wounding words. This is further emphasized in the horoscope by the quadruple parallels involving Pallas, Mars, Mercury and Neptune; not only did he say vicious things, but he could have been deliberate and cunning in the way he delivered them.
At first, he would seem as a man with whom it was easy to make friendships (Uranus trine Vesta, Sun parallel Uranus); once his friends were beholden to him, he would pounce on them, using them, exploiting them and dominating them (Pluto and Ceres square Vesta). As a child, there's little doubt he never really learnt to cope with frustration with people. He might even have been a bully in school or, possibly a small-time juvenile offender.
As for parenting, the Jupiter and Saturn figures (Taurus and Leo respectively) and their own close parallel speak of a strict upbringing, with the comfort of standards and money, but with affection and love of a rather practical and cold type. In any case, an emotional, full of outpouring love kind of parents could not have been perceived by this child, since his emotional antennas were receiving on a waveband of Aquarius, Libra and Aries, i.e. not the sort to be able to like or internalize smothering parental love. Although the parallel between Venus and Sedna is a little wide, it would have damaged in the child any idea that love was a beautiful comfortable feeling. Sedna being the corruption of Venus, love expressed, if any, and received was conditional on good "manly" behavior. This child was raised with high expectations that he must be powerful and not hesitate to trample on others to get to his own ends. He must have, at times, felt very anguished at the idea of not being perfect (wide Ceres Pluto conjunction and wide Ceres Pluto parallel). The Chiron Pluto parallel speaks of someone needing absolute control and power over others; in that sense, the education he may have received was seeded on fertile soil. This man grew, probably, as a "control freak".
There was also a sense that all he may have acquired could be lost and poverty was a theme of his life (Saturn trine Neptune show a fear of loss of money and comforts and the will, and ability, to earn money). If this meant him to be in the public eye (Uranus contra-parallel Sun) to earn even more money through a TV show highlighting his sex appeal (Mercury sextile Juno, Venus sextile/parallel Sedna), then he was ready to do it. Particularly so if late financial events in the last few months of his life were less than satisfactory. This man was proud and he would not have wanted to use his parents’ money, which would have been, in his eyes, tantamount to being a failure. Most of his desires were of an easy life in beautiful surroundings, with good food, good wine and good sex (Jupiter in Taurus, Moon in Libra).
As an Aquarian, his view of love was a detached one, more like a good friendship peppered with sex. This man’s loving capacity could, if he so wanted, extend to open relationships. With Venus in Aries, Jenkins would fall as quickly in love as out of love. He also needed immediate sexual reward. Unfortunately, his Venus is sextile Sedna. Worse, Venus is also widely parallel to Sedna. As Sedna corrupts everything it touches, even with a good aspect, Jenkins would have become furious if he didn't get to his ends straight away; this would have started a torrent of verbal abuse (Mercury conjunct an exalted but damaged Mars in Capricorn). Mars and Mercury being sextile to Juno would not help, as he would have harbored delusions of being a fantastic lover to whom no woman could refuse any sexual invitation.
Juno in Scorpio, sextile his Mercury and Mars, would have enticed Jenkins to seek sexual rewards in possibly kinky or out-of-the-way sexual practices. If anything, the mental fantasy construct was there. One, of course, cannot surmise if such unusual ideas were given real life in a bedroom, but certainly the man needed a very open-minded and sexually eager love partner. Chiron, is conjunct the South Node in Aries, square the Mercury-Mars conjunction in Capricorn; this configuration will have led Jenkins to damage any type of true love and marriage ideas with a slashing, cynic and ironic tongue.

The surprising part of this chart is here: the man was materialistic to a tee. Admittedly rich on his own - quite good - business abilities, he was not only seeking a love slave, but the object of his love needed to have either money, power, public recognition or all of these together, in addition to uninhibited sex habits. That was a tall order to meet to satisfy Jenkins.
Despite these negative astrological findings, he had much sexual appeal and would have had no difficulty in picking up women for sex (Mars in Capricorn). He oozed charm (Mars parallel Neptune ), and would at first appear as a solid and protective man (Jupiter parallel Saturn), with a boyish grin (Venus in Aries).
Ryan Jenkins’ heliocentric and latitude chart reveals some inner contradictions with the geocentric one. Here, there is a quincunx between Venus and Neptune , as well as a parallel between the two. This shows that deep inside, Jenkins was dreaming about ideal long-term friendly love (Venus parallel Vesta and Chiron is parallel Uranus) and not a life-long one since Saturn is trine his Neptune. Venus is also contra-parallel Mercury and Mars. Added to the quincunx of Mercury to Chiron, this shows a man who would love to court a woman. With these aspects and the Mars inconjunct Pluto it would have given him a macho view of his masculinity and sexual power. Actually, all these aspects show a "good lay", he knew his way about between the sheets, although some rougher aspects speak either of a feeling of inadequacy regarding his sexual performance or of a need for dominance, perhaps even out-of-the way sexual control, in his encounters (Mars quincunx Saturn, Venus sextile Saturn).
There was also a romantic side to him (hidden very deep since all the other aspects are pretty dominant) which is shown with the Mars sextile Neptune . The inability to keep relationships for a long-time and the taste for flings is shown, once again in this helio chart, by Uranus conjunct Juno. The man, here again, was a charmer to women (Mars sextile Neptune) and again as a good sexual partner (Venus contra-parallel Mars and Mars parallel Neptune).
His obsessive jealousy is illustrated with the square of Venus
Despite his strategic verbal abilities and good analytical skills, there were times when the art of synthesis escaped him (Mercury opposition Jupiter). The rest of the charts tell of a good business manager on the whole, motivated by earning huge money, obtaining power and getting known in the public light. His way with nasty words is confirmed again with an exact parallel of latitude between Mercury and Mars. The fact that he would strike friendships fast (with rich friends - Ceres sextile Vesta) and then destroy them with cruel words is shown with this parallel of Mercury and Mars to the contra-parallel of Vesta.
Did he or didn't he kill his wife Jasmine?
There is this very deranged, shocking, behavior in the telephone calls and text messages that Jenkins sent to himself from Jasmine’s cell phones, after her death.
When he reported his wife missing, he mentioned her "perfect teeth" and her going to have her nails done, which sounds horrible, given that he is alleged to have sliced off her fingers and extracted her teeth with pliers. The Mercury-Mars aspects would account for this abomination.
At present, it has been hinted that he dismembered his wife, or at least beat her to a pulp. As for strangulation, a number of studies have shown that this may happen in up to 30% of domestic violence cases, many times without any previous warning sign, and generally over obsessive jealousy of people - not necessarily lovers - around one's spouse (whether or not the jealousy is grounded in fact).
All in all, did Jenkins chart show innate malevolent spirit?
Well, there is an abundance of signs of difficulties with love and friendship coupled with a jealous, impulsive and violent temper. Perhaps if Jenkins had met astrology or a good psychologist, he might have been able to rein in some of the worst sides of his character. There are also many good qualities in the charts and Jenkins could probably have made better use of these.
Were the challenges of his astrological chart enough to make a killer?
It's difficult to say. The stars may have inclined him to be a wife-batterer, and the possibility does exist that he could, in a rage, kill a human being as this was definitely not a cold-blooded murder.

The malefic conjunction of Mercury and Mars in the geo chart, as well as the treble parallel with Neptune in the declinations do show the possibility of "hitting (Mars) at throat (Mercury as breath) to the point of dissolution (Neptune)" in an extensive fashion (Mars exalted in Capricorn) in a fit of temper (Sun parallel Uranus) during a sexual jealousy scene (Juno parallel Ceres-Pluto-Chiron).
As for events after the death of Jasmine Fiore, the pulling of the teeth, fingers and dismemberment, these are aspects of cold blood, as opposed to the murder itself. The chart shows cold blood with Saturn (pliers to the teeth) in Leo (beautiful person) sextile (organized) Ceres (the giver of life). The Moon, somewhere in Libra, is ruled by a corrupted/damaged Venus in Aries (the knife) and second-ruled by Saturn (itself in secondary mutual reception with the Sun). Cut fingers also go with the conjunction of Mercury and Mars in Capricorn.
The Neptunian, Saturnian and Uranian aspects in the chart reveal the possibility that a mad frenzy may have been triggered by the ingestion of alcohol and/or drugs, although only the results of an autopsy would make this certain. The police have nevertheless confided that they do not expect to find such mind-altering substances; some media reports, if truthful, hint at drugs, though it is not clear whether this concerns both or only one person of this couple. All of the charts also point to the possibility of being seriously depressed when overwhelmed with difficulties, which would entail a difficulty in confronting his own demons, his own truths, ultimately leading to suicide, particularly over love, sex and money matters.
It needs to be added that not all children born on the same day as Jenkins will exhibit such horrible traits. All the people that were born on the same date will evidently also get the same astrological transits in life and they do not end up murderers.
The above analysis is done without the exact position of the Moon and the Ascendant and MidHeaven. There is therefore the need for a further trigger in the stars to try to explain the horror of what he is alleged to have done to Jasmine Fiore's body after her death. This trigger will be found in the energy the charts of both Ryan Jenkins and Jasmine Fiore brought together, as well as the chart of their marriage. This will be examined in future posts.
